Sonny and I banged in the nails that hold the joists to the outer headers today. Most of the posts are getting solid in the ground thanks to the recent overnight rains. That made most of our work fairly easy. There were some pushing, pulling and prying required to get proper alignment on some. Both Sonny and I have determined that the nails we have been purchasing, SUCK! The seem to come pre-bent. And no, we aren't accepting any criticism about sloppy hammer work. :P Besides after all the hammering; arms are getting very tired.
We still need to order the posts for the center section of decking that runs between the buildings.
In this picture you can see the poor tree we had to drop. It's lying on the far right. We all miss it, but it will make for nice firewood.
