Today started with post hole digging. Well, for me anyway. One hole that had to be "dug" was right next to a tree stump. Major pain in the arse. Let's just say that I "dug" most of the hole with the chainsaw. :P
Next it was back to hammering. We placed the last four floor joists and hammered in the hurricane straps for them. Not so bad when you only have to do eight of them. Then it was banging in the hangers for the deck joists. We managed to get three posts in place, the headers and with several joists hammered in. Ran out of light again.
