Happiness is~

For my birthday, Sonny asked what I wanted.

So, me not being picky about what he decided to do, I told him to do something for me. Not to buy me anything. Dinner out to Mom&Dads and her scrumptous italian creme cake was really good. HA!

Oh Lucky me is getting the kitchen finished up.

Please don't mind our mess~ Kenny, Sonny's brother, has been abused and used and oh so appreciated. The sun hasn't been out, so he is kinda stuck in the house. He isn't bored :O

I came across an awesome deal on craiglist with these cabinets from Habitat Re-Store. They are brand new, never used, probably from a showhome or condo. They are perfect! Only $800! How's that for a bargain??? I'm smiling. They came with a counter top, but we will probably get a granite or do concrete... still deciding on that. I will up date when they are done. There are two more wall units which are not showing here, except for the first pic which you can see the back of one.

A new settee...

We picked this up for fifty dollars last week, of course it will get a new cover and new finish...it's pretty or will be.

We picked this up for a couple hundred today... very pretty and goes well with the our other pieces. Nice creamy color in great shape. Looks lovely with the sofa. But will be putting it at the end of the guest bed. (away from kitties) :)
