Bldg 1 - Floor Joists

After the septic was installed and the septic truck was removed, we began the task of laying the floor joists. Building one of two was looking pretty "slick" as we called it a day on account of rain. When we started we thought we'd call it a day once we heard thunder, but as we got pounded with ever increasing intensity the thunder just didn't seem to be coming through for us. With the boards getting slicker and the motivation becoming quite dampened it was unanimous; we had to pack it up. We hit the showers, got some dry clothes and went out for Hot Wings and beer. (Of course before we finished at the Wings out came the SUN!)

I'm hearing that we have several more days of rain ahead, this is NOT good, seeing as how we are finally making some progress. Let's hope that the forecast is wrong...
